Big Bird

I saw this bird outside my window today, this is the closest I could get before it flew away.

Apparently this falcon is a resident, I’ve seen him a few times now.

Did you ever catch sight of a nest nearby?
Or has this neighbor of yours moved on?

The nest appeared to be in some lower trees, at least that’s where it seemed to fly when it left. I haven’t seen it since Christmas.

I saw the falcon again today, it was soaring smugly over a couple of pissed-off crows.
